Linda Kilbride and her daughter, Lisa Stephens, debuted Recipe Goldmine in August 2000. Recipe Goldmine has fast become one of the largest and most popular culinary sites on the world-wide web. Those with visual impairments were taken into consideration when designing Recipe Goldmine. The 30,000 plus recipes are easily-accessible using a cookbook-style index and are easy to print. Recipe Goldmine is now maintained solely by Linda Kilbride from her home in Maricopa, Arizona.

Recipe Goldmine refuses to use annoying pop-up and pop-under ads, making its guests' visits much more enjoyable.

The ever-popular BBQ Guru, Kevin Taylor, maintains a collection of his tried-and-true recipes at Recipe Goldmine. He offers expert grilling, smoking and barbecuing advice in the Recipe and Crafts Exchange Forum. Kevin is a member of Team Doublesmoke which competes in grilling competitions throughout the Midwest.

Gary Beck, who answers many gardening questions from guests, maintains the Gardening with Gary section at Recipe Goldmine. Gary teaches classes and gives lectures on growth and care of various indoor and outdoor plants, blooming or ornamental. He is also a master judge and teacher. Gary earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University and worked in research there. He has served as show chairman and president on all California state levels of the African Violet Society.
